Canadian landscapes

I recently finished a new abstract landscape titled- "Simcoe Shoreline". It's part of the Northern Reflections Series that I developed a couple of years ago. The piece is 40" x 60" and is done in acrylic and mixed media. New Abstract Landscape

This piece titled-" The Little Town"  was inspired by the Dundalk highlands of Ontario. It is  40" x 60" and is painted in acrylics. Richter inspired

I recently watched a documentary on Gerhard Richter. Part of the doc films him actually painting several large pieces by pulling paint in layers with a large squeegee. It's a very interesting style and I was inspired to do a few pieces. This is one of my "attempts" titled- Sunset on Cherry St. The size is 24" x 48" and is done in acrylics. Urban Landscapes

I've just finished a new 46" x 46" abstract piece titled Bay & Wellington. It's an image of downtown Toronto rush hour crowds. The figures form a faceless crowd almost ghostly in appearance, an organic ebb and flow of people. You can find this piece for sale in my store.

New Sold Pieces

I've recently sold 3 new pieces over the weekend from my online gallery.It's nice to get some action on the net since I've been tied up with alot of gallery/commission work lately.I'll post some pics of the pieces soon.

Finding Time

I've been tied up lately with some large commissions but I'm hoping to have some new pieces up very soon. Finding time to keep up with work and family life is more difficult than I could have imagined. Being able to do what I love and have a roll in raising my son is a dream come true. If only there were 40hrs in a day!
